İSTATİSTİKSEL GÜÇ ANALİZİ: ATATÜRK ÜNİVERSİTESİ İKTİSADİ VE İDARİ BİLİMLER DERGİSİ ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

Bir
istatistiksel anlamlılık testi yapıldığı zaman örneklem hacmi, anlamlılık
düzeyi, etki büyüklüğü ve istatistiksel güç göz önünde bulundurulması gereken
önemli faktörlerdir. İstatistiksel güç en basit haliyle bir istatistiksel
anlamlılık testinin sıfır hipotezini reddedebilme olasılığıdır ve anlamlılık
seviyesi, örneklem hacmi ve etki büyüklüğünün doğrusal bir fonksiyonudur. Bu
çalışmanın temel amacı, istatistiksel anlamlılık testleri yapılan
araştırmaların başarılı bir şekilde yürütülmesi hususunda önem arz eden
istatistiksel güç analizinin ele alınıp istatistiksel güç analizi türlerinden
deneysel güç analizi uygulamasının yapılmasıdır.



Çalışmada
2010-2015 yılları arasında Atatürk Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler
Dergisinde yayınlanmış olan makalelere deneysel güç analizi uygulaması yapılmıştır.
Uygulama sonucunda
dergide söz
konusu yıllar arasında yayınlanmış olan makalelerin
ortalama istatistiksel gücü, küçük ve orta
seviyedeki etki büyüklükleri için Cohen’in tavsiye ettiği istatistiksel güç
seviyesinin altında olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
