TÜRKÇENİN YABANCI DİL OLARAK ÖĞRETİMİNDE BİR METİN UYARLAMA ÖRNEĞİ: KÖROĞLU DESTANI

Abstract

Türkler, tarih sahnesine ilk çıktıkları andan günümüze kadar kültürel değerlerini, inançlarını, hayat biçimlerini, kültürel karakterlerini, dünyaya bakış açılarını vb. gibi birçok toplumsal ve kültürel öğeyi anlatan ve nesilden nesile aktarıla gelen pek çok farklı edebi tür ortaya koymuşlardır. Bu türlerden bir tanesi de destandır. Hem yazılı hem de sözlü kültürde yaşayan destanlar toplumların kültürel kodlarını yansıtan eserlerdir. Bu destanların en bilinenlerinden bir tanesi de Köroğlu destanıdır. Hemen hemen bütün Türk yurtlarında ve kültürel coğrafyasında tanınan ve anlatılan bu destan yayılma sahası açısından en geniş sahaya sahip Türk destanıdır. Bu çalışmada, Anadolu sahası anlatılarından biri olan Behçet Mahir anlatısında yer alan “Demircioğlu ile Reyhan Arap” kolunun Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak öğrenen bireyler için B1 düzeyine uyarlanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilgili kol metin uyarlama tekniklerinden olan sadeleştirme, genişletme ve kolaylaştırma teknikleri kullanılarak B1 düzeyine uyarlanmıştır. Yöntem olarak betimsel nitelikte olan bu çalışma okuma metni olarak Türkçeyi yabancı dil olarak öğrenen bireylerin kullanımına sunulmuştur. Ayrıca bu çalışma, metin uyarlama tekniklerinin kapsamı ve uygulanması açısından metin uyarlama çalışacak araştırmacılara yol göstereceği öngörülmektedir.
