The study was conducted in the descriptive and relational scanning model. A total of 730 university students, including 216 men and 514 women, study at various faculties of Erciyes University, have sampled the study. 572 78.4% students were between 17 and 21 years old, 143 19.6% were between 22 and 26, 3 0.4% were between 27 and 31, 6 0.8% were in the 32-36 age and 6 0.8% were 37 years or older. Research data collection tools "Life Goals Scale LGS " and personal information form were used for validity reliability study. Descriptive statistics, correlation, ANOVA, H test, T test, U test and simple regression analysis technique were used in the analysis of the data. According to the study's findings, material gain and physical appearance from the lower dimensions of life, explaining the anxiety of social appearance in a meaningful positive way, personal development from the lower dimensions of life, social responsibility and individual awareness social it has been found to explain the anxiety of appearance in a meaningful negative direction. There was no significant difference in gender between the social aspect anxiety levels of university students. Female students' life goals levels are significantly lower than male students' life goals levels. Social aspect anxiety levels of students in 1st grade, 2, 3 and 4. Social appearance anxiety levels of students studying in the classroom are significantly higher. There was no significant difference between the social appearance anxiety and life goals levels of the university students according to the number of siblings. Social appearance anxiety levels of university students between the ages of 17 and 21 are significantly higher than those of university students between the ages of 22 and 26. It is observed that the social appearance anxiety and life goals levels of university students do not differ according to their marital status. Students with high family income were found to have significantly higher life goals levels than students with low and moderate family income.
