GELİR VE HARCAMA DÜZEYLERİNİN TASARRUF DAVRANIŞINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu
çalışmanın amacı Kocaeli’nde ikamet eden hanehalkların tasarruf davranışlarını,
gelir ve harcama düzeylerinin tasarruf davranışı üzerine etkisini ortaya
koymaktır. Bu çalışma kantitatif araştırma yöntemlerinden Bilgisayar Destekli
İnternet Anketi (CAWI) yöntemiyle 01-05 Temmuz 2019 tarihlerinde Kocaeli’de yaşayan
vatandaşlar hedeflenerek yapılmıştır. Çalışmada gelir düzeyi, harcama düzeyi ve
tasarruf düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki ilk olarak kurulan hipotezler aracılığıyla
Anova Test yöntemiyle ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca tasarruf düzeyinin; gelir düzeyi
ve harcama düzeyleri ile olan ilişkisi doğrusal regresyon modeli çerçevesinde
ele alınmıştır. Ampirik sonuçlar, Kocaeli’de gelir düzeyi bir birim arttığında
tasarruf düzeyinin 0,18 arttığına, harcama düzeyi bir birim arttığında tasarruf
düzeyinin 0,08 azaldığına işaret etmektedir.
