Video Yardımcı Hakem (VAR) Sisteminin Futbolda Genel Yansımaları Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı, futbola ilgi duyan bireylerin VAR sistemi hakkındaki görüşlerini değerlendirmek, VAR sisteminin avantajlarını belirlemek ve VAR’ın futbol açısından önemini ortaya koymaktır. Yürütülen nitel araştırma çerçevesinde VAR sistemi hakkında bilgi sahibi olan toplam 17 birey ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Maxqda Analiz Programı kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda VAR sisteminin genel yansımaları ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç olarak, VAR sisteminin futbolda adil bir ortam yarattığı ve tartışmalı pozisyon sayısını azalttığı belirlenmiştir. VAR hakemlerinin yetki genişliğinin arttırılması, bu kapsamda VAR hakemlerinin maçın sonucuna etki edebilecek birçok pozisyona müdahale edebilmeleri sağlanmalıdır.

A Research on The General Reflection of The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) System in Football

Öz

The aim of the research is to evaluate the opinions of individuals interested in football about the VAR system, to determine the advantages of the VAR system and to reveal the importance of VAR in terms of football. Within the framework of the qualitative research carried out, interviews were conducted with a total of 17 individuals who had knowledge about the VAR system. Maxqda Analysis Program was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the study, the general reflections of the VAR system were revealed. As a result, it has been determined that the VAR system creates a fair environment in football and reduces the number of controversial positions. The breadth of authority of VAR referees should be increased, and in this context, it should be ensured that VAR referees can intervene in many positions that may affect the outcome of the match.
