Gayr-i kıyâsî hazifin belli kuralları yoktur. Kıyâsî hazif ise kuralları olan ve genellikle iltikâ-i sâkineyden kurtulmak ve istiskâli gidermek amacıyla yapılan haziftir. Bu çalışmada illet harflerinin ve hemzenin hazif edildiği durumlar ve muda‘af fillerde ‘aynü’l-fiilin hazif edilmesi ele alınmıştır. Harekelerin hazifi ayrı bir başlık altında incelenmemiş ancak yeri geldiğinde değinilmiştir.
Some changes are made as the nouns such as i‘lâl and kalb according to their own characteristics in the structures of verbs, nouns and letters, which are called as words in Arabic. While some of these changes are made analogically, some of them are made exceptionally. Hazif (ruling out) means dropping defective letters (elif, vâv, and yâ) and hiatus in sarf and it is a kind of i‘lâl (defection). Hazif occurs in two ways as analogically and non-analogically. Non-analogical hazif has no certain rules. Analogical hazif has rules and is especially done in order to eliminate iltikâ-i sâkineyn and clear istiskal. The cases in which defective letters and hiatus are ruled out and ruling out ‘aynü’l-fiil (second letters) in muda‘af fiil (verbs with shadda) are discussed in this study. Ruling the vowel points out is not discussed under a separate title and it is explained when appropriate.
