The subject of this article is the Ism-i Mevsuls, which are mentioned under the title of marifa in Arabic grammar. Although nouns do not have an exact equivalent in Turkish, it is noticed that they resemble conjunctions and adjectives-verbs when appropriate. If the function of the ism al-mawsul is not understood correctly, it is inevitable that the Arabic syntax will be misunderstood and cause misunderstanding. In addition, the names that we encounter frequently in the verses of the Qur'an also constitute an important auxiliary element in the interpretation of the verses. While our subject is being handled, it has been tried to give examples from various verses and Arabic poetry and to benefit from basic sources. In particular, the work of Ibn Âkil, who wrote annotations on Ibn Malik's work, Elfiyye and some other important sources were used.
Bu makalemizin konusu Arap dili gramerinde marife başlığı altında zikredilmekte olan İsm-i Mevsullerdir. İsm-i mevsullerin Türkçede tam karşılığı bulunmamakla beraber bağlaç ve yeri geldikçe sıfat-fiillere benzediği fark edilmektedir. Özellikle İbn Malik’in eseri üzerine şerh yazan İbni Âkil’in Elfiyye eserinden ve diğer bazı önemli kaynaklardan yararlanıldı.
