The aim of this study is to evaluate the problems experienced by foreign university students studying in Turkey regarding spirituality and religiosity by using a qualitative phenomenological approach. Phenomenological research design, which is a qualitative research design, was used in this research. This qualitative research was conducted with 65 volunteer foreign students. The interviews were conducted individually and face-to-face. The data were made using Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method. In the analysis of the data, five categories (thoughts about the contribution of spirituality, problems experienced due to being a foreign student, problems experienced related to spirituality, problems experienced related to religiosity and spirit) eleven sub-themes (spiritual, social, physical, communication/environment, family, people, environment, worship, social, physical and spiritual) were identified. It has been determined that most of the foreign students do not have problems in a religious sense, but they have problems related to spirituality. In addition, it has been found that students sometimes feel loneliness and exclusion due to living in a different country. It has been determined that foreign students receive social support from their families, perform social activities and religious practices in order to protect and improve their mental health
