Abstract

Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin yaygınlaşması ve her yerde bulunması, bireylerin sürekli bu teknolojilerle etkileşime girmesini neredeyse zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Bu kaçınılmaz teknolojik devrim, yaşamın her alanını istila etmekle birlikte modern iş yerlerinde birçok değişimin ve dönüşümün yaşanmasına neden olmuş ve olmaya da devam etmektedir. İşlerin daha hızlı ve verimli yapılması gibi önemli katkılar sunan bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri bazı nedenlerden dolayı çalışanlarda aşırı kaygı ve stres yaratabilmektedir. Teknostres olarak ifade edilen bu durum çalışanlar üzerinde birçok olumsuz etkiye yol açmaktadır. Bu kapsamda bu çalışmanın amacı, çağdaş bir adaptasyon hastalığı olarak nitelendirilen teknostres fenomeninin nedenlerini ve banka çalışanları üzerindeki etkilerini derinlemesine incelemektir. Bu amaçla çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden bütüncül çoklu durum yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları amaçlı örneklem yöntemleri arasında yer alan ölçüt örnekleme tekniği ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri çevrimiçi görüntülü bireysel ve odak grup görüşme yöntemleri kullanılarak toplanmış ve içerik analizi yöntemine uygun bir şekilde analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda teknostresin nedenleri; tekno-aşırı yük, tekno-karmaşıklık, tekno-belirsizlik ve diğer nedenler temaları ile; teknostresin çalışanlar üzerindeki etkileri ise; davranışsal, psikolojik ve fizyolojik etkiler temaları ile açıklanmıştır.
