Open Access Policy and Licensing Policy
Open Access means that publications are freely available online to everyone with minimal restrictions regarding reuse. The unrestricted dissemination of research is particularly important for authors, readers, and funding organizations.
Turkish Research Journal of Academic Social Science (TURAJAS) is a signatory of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). According to BOAI, Open Access refers to “peer-reviewed scholarly literature being freely accessible via the internet without financial, legal, or technical barriers, allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts, index, transfer data to software, and use them for any lawful purpose.”

All articles published in Turkish Research Journal of Academic Social Science are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This license permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or share links to the full texts of articles, and to use them for any non-commercial purpose, provided that proper attribution is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated. License holders may copy, distribute, display, perform, and create derivative works based on the material for non-commercial purposes only.
As long as you comply with the license terms, the licensor cannot revoke these freedoms.
Under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, you are free to:
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.
Under the following conditions:

No fees are charged to authors for submission, evaluation, or publication of manuscripts accepted for publication in Turkish Research Journal of Academic Social Science (TURAJAS), and no royalties are paid to authors.
